  • On July 25, Norman’s campaign confirmed that he has officially declared his bid for South Carolina governor in 2026.
  • He is expected to file his candidacy paperwork with state officials imminently and hold a kickoff rally in Rock Hill to formally launch his campaign.
  • Norman has served in the U.S. House since a 2017 special election and is a founding member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus.
  • He was one of only two House Republicans to endorse Nikki Haley in the 2024 presidential primary and has said he will not seek President Trump’s endorsement.
