Rep. Lauren Boebert's Ex-Husband Charged Over Domestic Incidents

Jayson Boebert, ex-husband of Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert, has been charged in connection with two separate domestic incidents, one involving his ex-wife and the other their 18-year-old son.
The first incident occurred at a restaurant in Silt, Colorado, where Jayson alleged that Lauren punched him during an argument. However, investigators found no evidence to support this claim.
In the second incident, Jayson is accused of having a physical confrontation with their son, during which he allegedly grabbed a rifle. This led to charges of harassment, prohibited use of a weapon, and third-degree assault.
Lauren Boebert, who was not present during the altercation with their son, has announced her decision to switch from Colorado's 3rd Congressional District to the 4th District for her re-election campaign.
Lauren and Jayson Boebert, who share four sons and one grandchild, officially filed for divorce in May 2023 after 18 years together.
