Renowned Theatre Producer Martin McCallum Dies at 73

McCallum, Known for Hits Like 'Les Miserables' and 'Cats', Leaves a Lasting Legacy in the Theatre Industry

Martin McCallum, renowned British theatre producer, has died at the age of 73.
McCallum's career spanned over 500 productions, including major hits like Les Miserables, Cats, and The Phantom Of The Opera.
He served as the president of the London Theatre (SOLT) from 1999 to 2002, and was a member of the Broadway League since 1988.
McCallum was also known for his advocacy for access in theatre, including securing funding for a campaign to use theatre to bring people back to the West End after the 9/11 terror attacks.
He is survived by his partner Gwynne and children Gabriel, Fabian, Amy, Toby and Sophie.
