Juan Mendez, known for his contributions to the techno music scene, has passed away, leaving the industry in mourning.

Juan Mendez, known as Silent Servant, a renowned techno producer and DJ, has died. The cause of death has not been revealed.
Mendez was a member of the influential Sandwell District collective and also launched the label Jealous God.
He began releasing music as Silent Servant in 2006 and has released numerous singles, EPs, and collaborative projects.
Mendez was also a graphic designer for Sandwell District and worked as a photographer and director.
Several artists have paid tribute to Mendez, describing him as an amazing artist and a gentle person.
