John Pilger, the renowned Australian journalist and documentary filmmaker, has died aged 84.
Pilger was known for his investigative journalism and documentaries, particularly his coverage of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia.
He was a strong critic of Western foreign policy and Australia's treatment of its Indigenous population.
Pilger also campaigned for the release of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
He won numerous awards for his work, including an International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences award and the Richard Dimbleby BAFTA award.
