Renowned Conductor Jan Latham-Koenig Charged with Child Sex Offences

Latham-Koenig, awarded an OBE in 2020, is due to appear in court following his arrest on suspicion of arranging a child sex offence.

Jan Latham-Koenig, a renowned classical music conductor, has been charged with child sex offences.
He was arrested at Victoria Station in London on Wednesday.
The charges include arranging or facilitating a child sex offence and sexual communications with a child.
Latham-Koenig, who was awarded an OBE in 2020, is due to appear before Westminster magistrates’ court on Friday.
Throughout his career, he has conducted the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and all the BBC ensembles.
