Renowned Actress Brigit Forsyth Dies at 83

Forsyth, celebrated for her roles in 'Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads?', 'Playing The Field' and 'Still Open All Hours', passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Brigit Forsyth, known for her roles in 'Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads?', 'Playing The Field' and 'Still Open All Hours', has died at the age of 83.
She passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family.
Forsyth had a varied career in stage, screen and radio, including roles in the West End, the National Theatres of England and Scotland, and numerous BBC radio plays.
She was also a talented musician, playing the cello, singing and composing, and played with several bands including The Fircones.
In 2016, Forsyth founded her own cross-disciplinary theatre company, Word Mills Productions.
