Overview

• Lurigancho–Chosica will host a free DNIe operation on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 09:30 to 13:00 at the Agencia Municipal de Jicamarca on Av. 5 de Agosto (Mz. H1 Lt. 37, Sector Sur), targeting minors aged 0–17 and adults 60+.
• For the free campaign, minors must attend in person with a parent or representative carrying a valid DNI, and older adults must present themselves with a valid ID.
• RENIEC’s online channel allows renewals up to 60 days before expiry, address updates and duplicates via reniec.gob.pe, with identity verification through the DNI Biofacial app using facial capture and a new photo upload.
• Published fees are S/41 for renewal (code 00525), S/34 for address update (code 00730) and S/33 for a duplicate (code 00522), payable through Banco de la Nación’s Págalo.pe; users select a pickup office and can collect once the status shows 100% and “En agencia.”
• RENIEC reports more than 1.3 million digital DNI-related transactions this year, and a S/30 cost applies only to first-time adult DNIe issuances through Dec. 31.
