Reniec Opens Holiday Offices and Schedules Free DNIe Drives for Vulnerable Groups This December

Holiday openings with Yape payments reduce hurdles for vulnerable applicants.

Overview

  • Reniec will keep several registral offices open on the December 8–9 holidays, with more than 50 centers operating nationwide and Lima sites including Independencia, Miraflores, Jesús María, San Borja, San Juan de Miraflores, San Juan de Lurigancho and Santa Anita.
  • Villa El Salvador will run a free DNIe delivery event on December 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Plaza de la Familia for children 0–16, 17-year-olds updating to DNIe, and people with disabilities.
  • Asia (Cañete) will host a focused campaign for Omaped-registered people with disabilities on December 10 (2:00–5:00 p.m.) and December 11 (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) offering free first registration, renewal, duplicate and data rectification.
  • Additional free campaigns are scheduled for December 16 in Tacna (Municipalidad Distrital Alto de la Alianza) and Cajamarca (Municipalidad Distrital de Baños del Inca) for minors, older adults and people with disabilities, with attention limited to available slots.
  • Digital payment via Yape is enabled for DNI fees such as duplicates and renewals by generating a Reniec ticket and paying through the app’s “Yapear servicios” option.
