Reniec Launches Free DNIe Drive Nov. 3–4 in Madre de Dios and Tacna

Municipal coordination sets hours, locations, and capacity limits for a Reniec push that prioritizes vulnerable residents.

Overview

  • Laberinto (Puerto Maldonado, Madre de Dios) will run a one‑day session on Nov. 3 from 08:00 to 16:30 with multiple DNI procedures available.
  • Ciudad Nueva (Tacna) will host Nov. 3–4 sessions at the Ángel Alejo Tunco auditorium from 08:00 to 12:00 with only 60 slots on a first‑come basis.
  • Priority groups include children, older adults, indigenous community members, people in poverty, 17‑year‑olds, and newborns.
  • Services include first‑time registrations, renewals for all ages, civil‑status updates, address rectification for minors, and delivery of documents from prior campaigns.
  • Reniec highlights that the DNIe enables secure identification, legal digital signatures, biometric protection against identity theft, and easier access to public and private services.
