- Payments can be made in Yape by selecting Yapear Servicios, choosing Trámites y Tributos and Reniec, then entering the code, or at BCP agents by providing the code and the procedure name.
- Once paid, the system validates the transaction automatically so the procedure activates within minutes, removing the need for paper receipts and cutting wait times.
- Fourteen Reniec services are enabled, including DNIe issuance or renewal, data rectification and certified copies, with fees ranging from S/4.10 to S/41.00.
- Traditional options such as pagalo.pe and Banco de la Nación remain available, while Reniec touts faster access and Yape reports over 7 million monthly users of its service payments feature.
