Renault Unveils Boreal SUV With Local Production in Brazil and Turkey

Overview

  • The Boreal leads Renault’s plan to roll out eight new models outside Europe by 2027 under its International Gameplan.
  • Built on the CMF-B modular platform, the SUV measures 4.56 m long with a 2.70 m wheelbase and offers both five- and seven-seat configurations.
  • Production will be localized at Renault’s Curitiba plant for 17 Latin American markets and at its Bursa facility for markets spanning Turkey and beyond.
  • Power comes from a new 1.3-litre TCe turbocharged engine delivering up to 163 bhp in FlexFuel form or 156 bhp on petrol, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
  • The cabin features twin 10-inch Google-native displays, customizable ambient lighting and up to 24 Level 2 ADAS functions including adaptive cruise control and 360° cameras.
