Renault Unveils Boreal SUV to Expand Global C-Segment Lineup

Featuring Google-integrated dual 10-inch displays plus 24 advanced driver-assistance systems, the model enters production in Brazil this August before scheduled rollouts in Argentina with production set for Turkey in 2026.

Overview

  • The Boreal measures 4.56 meters long with a 2.70-meter wheelbase and is powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine producing 156 hp and 270 Nm of torque through a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
  • Renault will begin manufacturing the SUV at its Curitiba plant in August 2025, supplying more than 70 markets and targeting an Argentine launch in late Q1 2026.
  • A second production line is slated to open in Bursa, Turkey in 2026, enabling regional distribution across Europe, Asia and Africa.
  • The cabin is built around two 10-inch screens running native Google services for Maps, Assistant and more, complemented by ambient lighting and customizable Multi-Sense driving modes.
  • Drivers can access up to 24 advanced driver-assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, autonomous emergency stop and semi-autonomous parking assistance.
