Renault Taps Procurement Chief Nicolas Paris to Lead Korea, Moves Deblaise to Head India

Overview

  • Renault Group has appointed Nicolas Paris, its vice president of e-powertrain, battery, ADAS, connectivity and software, as CEO of Renault Korea Motors effective September 1, 2025.
  • Stephane Deblaise, who has led Renault Korea since March 2022, will take charge of all Renault Group operations in India, reporting to Chief Procurement and Partnerships Officer François Provost.
  • Paris brings over 20 years of global automotive purchasing experience and the EV procurement leadership he honed at Renault’s French headquarters since 2023.
  • Deblaise will be supported by Renault India Pvt Ltd Managing Director Venkatram Mamillapalle as he defines and executes the group’s mid-term growth strategy across the country.
  • Under Deblaise’s tenure in Korea, the Busan plant launched the Aurora Project and released the Grand Koleos SUV, which has sold more than 45,000 units since September 2024.
