Renault India Marks Kwid’s 10th Year With Limited-Run Edition and Safer, Renamed Range

The update targets value-focused first-time buyers with a 500-unit special, range-wide 3-point seatbelts, six airbags on Climber, simplified trims, sharper pricing.

  • Renault launched the Kwid 10th Anniversary Limited Edition at Rs 5.14 lakh (MT) and Rs 5.63 lakh (AMT), limited to 500 units and based on the Techno variant.
  • The special adds dual-tone Fiery Red/Black Roof and Shadow Grey/Black Roof, shiny black flex wheels, yellow grille insert, anniversary decals, illuminated scuff plates, and puddle lamps.
  • The lineup adopts Evolution (ex-RXL), Techno (ex-RXT) and Climber naming, with ex-showroom prices now starting at Rs 4.29 lakh and AMT options from Rs 4.99 lakh.
  • Safety upgrades include standard 3-point seatbelts for every seat across the range, while the Climber variant now offers six airbags.
  • Mechanicals are unchanged with the 1.0L SCe petrol paired to a 5-speed manual or Easy-R AMT, maintaining the model’s value-focused positioning.
