Remains of Missing Wisconsin Toddler Elijah Vue Found After 7 Months

A hunter discovered the remains of three-year-old Elijah Vue, missing since February, in a wooded area near Two Rivers.

Elijah Vue, who would have turned four last month, was last seen on February 20 at the home of his mother's boyfriend, Jesse Vang.
Vang reported Elijah missing after waking from a nap to find the child gone; an AMBER Alert was issued but has now been canceled.
The remains were found on private property about three miles from where Elijah was last seen, confirmed by a forensic anthropologist.
Both Elijah’s mother, Katrina Baur, and her boyfriend, Jesse Vang, are currently jailed on child neglect charges but have not been charged in connection with Elijah's death.
The Two Rivers Police Department and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children expressed devastation over the outcome and continue to investigate the case.
