Remains of Marcedes Myran Identified in Manitoba Landfill

Jeremy Skibicki was convicted in 2024 of murdering four Indigenous women in 2022, with evidence showing he met his victims in homeless shelters before killing them.
The search for Myran and Harris's remains began three months ago after advocacy from their families, highlighting systemic failures in addressing violence against Indigenous women.
The remains of Skibicki's fourth victim, an unidentified woman known as Mashkode Bizhiki’ikwe (Buffalo Woman), are still missing.
