Remains of Korean War MOH Recipient Identified After 73 Years

  • Story's remains were disinterred in June 2021 and identified in a joint effort by the U.S. and South Korea.
  • Leaders from both countries honored Story's heroism and sacrifice in a ceremony at the Korean War Memorial in Seoul.
  • Story's surviving niece and her husband met with the presidents of South Korea and the United States.
