Remains of Finnish WWII Plane Downed by Soviets Discovered After 84 Years

Divers locate well-preserved wreckage of passenger plane shot down over Baltic Sea, carrying American and French diplomats.

  • The plane, named Kaleva, was shot down by Soviet bombers in June 1940, killing all nine on board.
