Band Asks Fans to Refrain from Visiting Military Bases, Plans to Reconvene in 2025

Four more members of K-pop group BTS are set to begin their mandatory military service in South Korea.
The band members, RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, have asked fans not to visit the military bases during their service to avoid causing a nuisance.
Three older members of the band, Jin, J-Hope and Suga, are already enrolled in the military service.
All able-bodied men in South Korea are required to serve about 18-21 months in the military under a conscription system.
BTS is expected to reconvene as a group around 2025, after all members complete their service.
