Overview
- Reliance Jio Platforms will open public subscription on October 21 with a price band of Rs 1,065–1,119 per share and expects to raise between Rs 28,755 crore and Rs 30,213 crore.
- The Jio IPO reserves up to Rs 500 crore of shares for eligible Jio employees and up to Rs 2,500 crore for eligible Reliance Industries shareholders, creating set allocations for insiders and related retail groups.
- Gurugram-based Paras Healthcare will take subscriptions on the same October 21–23 window with a price band of Rs 660–693 and a planned raise of up to Rs 1,450 crore made up of a Rs 500 crore fresh issue and a Rs 650 crore offer for sale.
- Paras will use about Rs 375 crore of net fresh-issue proceeds to repay debt, and the company runs eight hospitals with a combined 2,211 beds across North India, Bihar and Jharkhand.
- Investors and analysts say market focus is on Jio’s valuation and subscription trends because the listing’s scale could affect cash flow into other IPOs and set pricing benchmarks for India’s primary market.
