• At RIL’s 48th AGM, Mukesh Ambani announced a wholly owned subsidiary called Reliance Intelligence to accelerate the group’s AI agenda.
• The subsidiary’s four missions cover next‑generation infrastructure, global partnerships, India‑specific services for consumers and businesses, and a dedicated talent hub.
• Work has begun on gigawatt‑scale, AI‑ready data centres in Jamnagar, engineered for training and inference and powered by Reliance’s clean energy ecosystem.
• Google and Reliance will establish a Jamnagar Cloud region built for and dedicated to Reliance, bringing Google Cloud AI and compute connected by Jio’s network to support mission‑critical workloads and broaden access.
• Reliance and Meta will form an India‑focused joint venture to pair open‑source models such as Llama with Reliance’s domain expertise to deliver enterprise‑ready, sovereign AI for Indian businesses.
