Overview

• Seven off-duty police officers were attacked twice late Sept. 13–14 in central Reims near the commissariat, with the same group confronting them around 23:30 and again near 01:00.
• Two brothers, aged 26 and 27 and originally from Mayotte, were indicted for aggravated violence against public officials and placed in pre-trial detention.
• Investigators are seeking roughly ten additional assailants, drawing on city CCTV and bystander video that captured the beatings.
