• Reid Carruthers will forego the Home Hardware Pre-Trials Oct. 20–26 in Wolfville to concentrate on his role coaching Team Kerri Einarson.
• Team Jayden King of London, Ontario, has been named as Carruthers’ replacement in the eight-team men’s Pre-Trials field as the highest-ranked rink not yet qualified.
• Winners of the Wolfville Pre-Trials will earn the final berths in the Nov. 22–30 Canadian Curling Trials in Halifax, where teams will compete for spots at the 2026 Milan Olympics.
• Curling Canada has released full draw schedules for both the Pre-Trials and the subsequent Trials, finalizing the timeline for Canada’s Olympic curling qualification.
