Overview
- Registration opened on September 11 for the October 19 race in Coia, with entries available online and in person at El Corte Inglés.
- All proceeds are designated for Vigo4SAR, a sarcoma research project led by María Mayán at the Universidade de Vigo’s Cinbio/CellCOM group.
- Participants can opt for a 5 km noncompetitive route or a 10 km timed race with prizes, with the 10 km included in the Run RUN VIGO program.
- Sign-ups will close when the 5,000-participant cap is reached or by October 13, whichever comes first.
- Organizers set a €300,000 fundraising goal for this farewell edition, as Mayor Abel Caballero praised the association’s work and announced the city’s takeover starting in 2026.
