Overview
- The online portal at cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs closed on July 29, marking the end of the June 4–July 29 application window for Class 6 admission.
- Eligible applicants born between May 1 and July 31, 2014 submitted details including state, district, Aadhaar or residence certificate during registration.
- Each candidate uploaded a photograph, parent and candidate signatures in JPG format and provided other required documents before the deadline.
- The 2025 selection test features three sections—mental ability, arithmetic and language—with 80 objective questions worth 100 marks to be completed in 120 minutes.
- Successful applicants will join one of 654 residential Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across 27 states and eight union territories, following a first exam on December 13 and a second on April 11, 2026.
