Taliban's Acting Foreign Minister Urges Nations to Engage in Positive Interaction and Regional Cooperation

India, along with other regional countries, attended a conclave in Kabul organized by the Taliban aimed at promoting regional cooperation.
The Taliban's acting foreign minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, addressed the meeting, emphasizing the need for regional dialogues and positive interaction with Afghanistan.
India has not yet recognized the Taliban setup and continues to advocate for the formation of an inclusive government in Kabul.
Muttaqi urged participants to take advantage of emerging opportunities in Afghanistan for regional development and to coordinate the management of potential threats.
The meeting comes days after the Indian embassy in the UAE invited the charge d'affaires of the Afghan mission to the Republic Day celebrations in Abu Dhabi.
