  • The 27-year-old winger overcame a lengthy injury layoff to score 11 goals in 18 matches for Hertha BSC, which concluded the season in 11th place.
  • Karsten Heine earned 29.1 percent support from eight nominees to top Robert Schröder (27.1 percent) and Miren Catovic (16.0 percent) in the amateur coach category.
  • Heine becomes a three-time Berliner Amateurtrainer der Saison after previous wins in 2019/20 and 2021/22 with VSG Altglienicke.
  • The Berliner Fußball-Verband has organized the fan-driven awards alongside Fußball-Woche and Lotto Berlin each year since 2011.
