Reedpop, the owner of Gamer Network, is considering selling the business, which includes major gaming publications such as Eurogamer, Rock Paper Shotgun, VG247, and GamesIndustry.biz.
The potential sale does not include UK-based events EGX or MCM, or the digital brand Popverse.
Reedpop acquired Gamer Network in 2018, aiming to create a leading events and media group for the gaming community.
The company believes that new ownership offers the best conditions for the growth of the business.
Despite the potential sale, the websites under Gamer Network will continue their regular operations.
