2024 Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado, and GMC Canyon Among the Most Intriguing Midsize Trucks with New Turbocharged Engines, Advanced Towing Technology, Stylish Redesigns and Hybrid Options Starting at $30,000.
- The redesigned 2024 Toyota Tacoma features a muscular design, improved interior with a big optional center touchscreen, and a hybrid powertrain offering impressive horsepower (326hp) and torque (465lb-ft). It starts at around $30,000.
- Ford Ranger, starting at $34,160, now has a bolder design and modernized interior. It also introduces advanced towing technologies like a blind-spot warning system and a Pro Trailer Back Assist feature. Its towing capacity reaches up to 7,500 pounds.
- Chevy Colorado 2024, starting at $30,695, showcases a beefy look with an improved interior, a larger (11.3-inch) center touchscreen integrated with Google services, and a maximum towing capacity of 7,700 pounds when fully equipped.
- The GMC Canyon 2024, a luxurious sibling of Colorado, starts at $38,395. It shares many design and technical features with the Colorado but offers an off-road-dedicated Canyon AT4X model and a luxurious Denali trim with premium features.
- Other midsize trucks also featuring updates for 2024 include the Nissan Frontier's Hardbody Edition, Jeep Gladiator's restyled grille, and new dashboard, and the Honda Ridgeline's TrailSport version with increased off-road capabilities.
