Drafted sixth overall in 2019, Seider has accumulated 134 points in 246 career games and won the Calder Trophy as the NHL's top rookie in 2022.
He was the only NHL player last season to record at least 200 hits and block over 200 shots, showcasing his defensive prowess.
General Manager Steve Yzerman is banking on Seider and recently re-signed forward Lucas Raymond to lead the team's rebuild.
