Red Sox' Triston Casas Placed on IL with Shoulder Inflammation, Bobby Dalbec Recalled

Triston Casas, Boston's rookie first baseman, was placed on the 10-day IL with right shoulder inflammation.
Casas has missed the last two games and leads AL rookies in walks and OPS this season.
The Red Sox recalled Bobby Dalbec from Triple-A to replace Casas at first base.
In 2021, Dalbec hit 25 home runs as a rookie, the sixth-most by a Red Sox rookie in team history.
Casas was scratched from the lineup for two straight games before landing on the IL.
