Red Sox Trade Infielder Luis Urías to Mariners for Reliever Isaiah Campbell

Move comes as Boston non-tenders lefthander Wyatt Mills, while Seattle secures contracts for all unsigned players on its 40-man roster for 2024 season.

The Boston Red Sox have traded infielder Luis Urías to the Seattle Mariners in exchange for reliever Isaiah Campbell.
Urías, 26, struggled with injuries throughout the 2023 season, batting just .194 in 52 games between Milwaukee and Boston.
Campbell, 26, had a successful rookie season with the Mariners, posting a 2.83 ERA and 27.5 percent strikeout rate in 27 appearances.
The Red Sox also non-tendered lefthander Wyatt Mills, making him a free agent.
The Mariners have tendered contracts to each of the 30 players on its 40-man roster who were not already signed for the 2024 season.
