Red Sox Activate Arroyo, DFA Tapia to Keep Duran
- Boston Red Sox designated outfielder Raimel Tapia for assignment and activated infielder Christian Arroyo from the injured list.
- Tapia appeared in 39 games for the Red Sox this season, batting .264 with one home run and 10 RBIs.
- Arroyo was activated off the 10-day IL (hamstring) and has played in 27 games this season with one home run and 11 RBIs.
- The move to DFA Tapia was made in order to keep Jarren Duran, who has been performing well, on the roster.
- Adam Duvall is expected to be activated from the injured list on Friday.
