Red Sea Souk Awards Highlight Emerging Talent from the Arab World, Africa, and Asia

- Katia Jarjoura's 'Robbing Beirut,' a heist drama set during Lebanon's economic crisis, won the $75,000 Red Sea Souk Production Award, the event's highest honor.
- Georgian director Levan Koguashvili's 'Guria' received the $40,000 post-production award for its portrayal of a Georgian town in the 1990s after the Soviet Union's collapse.
- Other major winners included Mahamed Al’Omda's 'Blue Card' ($70,000) and Lydia Matata's 'Pepo Kali' ($50,000), both recognized as part of the Red Sea Lodge program.
- The Red Sea Souk expanded its scope this year, welcoming projects from Asia for the first time and achieving a record number of meeting requests for its selected projects.
