Red Lobster Revamps Crabfest Menu to Boost Turnaround

Under CEO Damola Adamolekun, the chain is banking on new seafood boils alongside crab dishes coupled with summer cocktails to lure customers back to its 600 U.S. restaurants.

  • Red Lobster launched its 2025 Crabfest promotion featuring Mariner’s and Sailor’s seafood boils alongside seven new crab-focused dishes such as Crabby-Stuffed Mushrooms and Steak Oscar.
  • The summer menu includes four limited-time cocktails – Purple Haze and STILL G.I.N. by Dre & Snoop plus Passion Star Spritz and Starry Eyed Surprise.
  • The chain filed for Chapter 11 in May 2024 under nearly $300 million in debt and emerged from bankruptcy in September after restructuring and an acquisition by RL Investor Holdings LLC.
