Red Arrows Outline Yorkshire Flypast Schedule Ahead of Armed Forces Day

After Friday’s flight from RAF Waddington to Mildenhall the team will begin Saturday at 10:40am with a pass over Grantham before capping it with a 6:06pm arch above York.

Overview

  • On Friday, June 20, the Red Arrows will depart RAF Waddington at 11:30am, cross Lincolnshire and land at RAF Mildenhall at 11:57am.
  • Saturday morning begins at 10:40am with a pass over Grantham and the Peak District as the team heads to Newtownards for Northern Ireland Armed Forces Day.
  • Following their Newtownards display, the pilots will stage a 6:06pm arch north of Haxby over York, Howden and Goole before returning to RAF Mildenhall by 6:26pm.
  • All flight timings and routes are provisional and may be altered by weather or operational needs.
  • The squadron will then bring its Diamond Nine formations to the Duxford Summer Air Show on Sunday, June 22.
