Overview
- The team took off from Liverpool Airport at 2:59 pm on Sunday, flying over Ellesmere Port, northeast of Chester, Cholmondeley, Nantwich, and Lilleshall before reaching RAF Cosford.
- Sunday’s display will open the RAF Cosford Air Show under the theme “Commemorate, Celebrate, Innovate” alongside the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the RAF Typhoon display, and the Polish F-16 demo team.
- Following the Cosford performance, the Red Arrows will head east back to RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, passing over Brewood, Uttoxeter, and Sutton-on-Trent.
- Spectators across the Midlands have spotted the jets soaring above Ellesmere Port, Chester, and Lilleshall on the approach to Cosford.
