  • UCLA announced on July 11 that two-time All-American Megan Grant will join the women’s basketball team as a 5-foot-10 guard/forward for the 2025-26 season.
  • Grant set the Big Ten single-season home run record with 26 and ranked top 10 nationally with 81 RBIs and a .933 slugging percentage in softball last season.
  • She helped lead UCLA softball to consecutive Women’s College World Series berths as well as Pac-12 regular-season and tournament titles.
  • A multi-sport standout at Aragon High School, Grant lettered in softball, basketball and volleyball and averaged 7.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in hoops.
  • Coaches Cori Close and Kelly Inouye-Perez praised her passion, work ethic and high-performance mindset as traits that will translate to basketball.
