The Super Mario Bros. Movie has crossed $1 billion at the global box office.
The entire movie was uploaded to Twitter and gained over 9 million views before being removed due to copyright.
Longer Twitter videos are a perk of subscribing to Twitter Blue, allowing for videos up to 60 minutes long on the website and 10 minutes on iOS and Android.
Other movies, such as Avatar and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, have also been uploaded to Twitter in violation of copyright policies.
Twitter's decreased workforce may be contributing to the extended time between upload and account suspension for these violations.
