- Central and northern regions are also seeing historic upticks, including 27 nests in Tuscany, 17 in Lazio and 11 in Liguria.
- Life Turtlenest, Goletta Verde’s Tarta Dog unit, Legambiente and local volunteers have expanded beach patrols and protection protocols to secure nests.
