Football clubs spent a record $888m on agents' fees in international transfers in 2023, a 43% increase from the previous year, according to a FIFA report.
English clubs were the biggest spenders, accounting for almost a third of the total with $280m.
Clubs in the Saudi Pro League were the second highest spenders, with $86m spent on agents' fees.
For the first time, more than $1m was spent on agents' fees in women's football.
