Overview

• Organizers Pirotècnia Mediterráneo and Clavarios del Cristo de Aldaia will unleash 1,310 kilograms of gunpowder in a sequence that includes 11,400 warning shots, five ground and five aerial segments, a three-kilometer “earthquake” phase and a sealed finale.
• Two security perimeters staffed by local police, the Guardia Civil and private guards will enforce restricted zones around the Cinturón Verde de Aldaia.
• The Policía Local de Aldaia has advised residents to close windows, avoid balconies and recommended that spectators arrive on foot early with hearing protection and sun safety gear.
• The Asociación Pequeños Felinos de Aldaia and local residents have collected over 500 signatures in a petition calling for suspension or relocation over concerns that the noise will panic domestic and wild animals.
• Thousands of local and international visitors, including groups from Germany and the Netherlands, are expected to attend the midday display.
