Overview
- The city published Lucas Vieira Silva’s appointment as municipal procurador in an extra edition of the Diário Oficial on December 23, for a post with net pay above R$30,000.
- Silva, originally 63rd in the 2022 contest, requested in May 2025 to enter the people-with-disabilities list after presenting an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis that the city says was confirmed by the Regional Labor Court.
- PGM Recife’s technical staff opposed accepting extemporaneous proof as contrary to the edital, but Procurador-Geral Pedro Pontes authorized the reclassification, and the list was re-homologated in mid-December.
