Overview
- The Receita Federal began processing roughly four million automatic simplified declarations in mid-June and will open consultation for the special lot on July 8 with deposits scheduled for July 15.
- The special lot is expected to disburse about R$500 million to roughly 4 million people, with refunds capped at R$1,000 and an average payment near R$125.
- Payments will be made only to bank accounts linked to a Pix key registered to the taxpayer's CPF to limit fraud and ensure funds reach the intended recipients.
- To qualify a person must not have been required to file in 2025, must not have submitted an IRPF 2025 return, be entitled to a refund of up to R$1,000, have a regular CPF considered low fiscal risk, and have a Pix-CPF key.
- Taxpayers can review the automatically generated declaration in Meu Imposto de Renda, cancel or retify it, or submit a full declaration if they find errors or if the case goes to malha fina, and the pilot runs separately from the regular restitution calendar.
