Rebecca Welch is set to become the first female referee in the Premier League, officiating the Burnley vs Fulham match on December 23.
Welch has been a referee since 2010, and has officiated in the men's Championship and the Women's Super League.
She was the fourth official for a Premier League match between Manchester United and Fulham last month.
