- Buyers closing in these ZIPs showed stronger financial profiles than the U.S. average, with average down payments around 17.1% and median FICO near 766, which helped produce an average sale‑to‑list ratio of about 103.8% and multiple ZIPs selling well over asking.
- The rankings underscore a persistent market concentration: older, larger suburban homes within roughly 10–20 miles of major metros remain highly sought in the Northeast and Midwest while the South and West again supply no top entries.
