Realme Surpasses 200 Million Smartphone Shipments

The Chinese smartphone maker prepares to launch premium phones featuring Qualcomm's latest high-end chip.

Realme, a Chinese smartphone maker, has shipped over 200 million phones since its establishment just over five years ago.
Most of these shipments were made outside of China, making Realme the fifth fastest smartphone maker to reach this milestone.
Realme is owned by Chinese consumer hardware giant BBK Electronics, which also owns the Oppo and Vivo brands.
Realme is preparing to launch the Realme GT 5 Pro, one of the first handsets to feature Qualcomm's latest high-end chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and Sony's new Lytia camera sensor.
Xiaomi has recently released the Xiaomi 14 Pro, which also runs on the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
