Realme Surpasses 200 Million Smartphone Shipments

The Chinese smartphone maker prepares to launch premium phones featuring Qualcomm's latest high-end chip.

  • Realme, a Chinese smartphone maker, has shipped over 200 million phones since its establishment just over five years ago.
  • Most of these shipments were made outside of China, making Realme the fifth fastest smartphone maker to reach this milestone.
  • Realme is owned by Chinese consumer hardware giant BBK Electronics, which also owns the Oppo and Vivo brands.
  • Realme is preparing to launch the Realme GT 5 Pro, one of the first handsets to feature Qualcomm's latest high-end chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and Sony's new Lytia camera sensor.
  • Xiaomi has recently released the Xiaomi 14 Pro, which also runs on the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
