Joey Burford, known from TLC's 'MILF Manor,' suffered a serious scooter accident that led to a bleeding brain and broken facial bones.
His mother, Kelle Mortensen, has set up a GoFundMe to help cover medical expenses, which has raised over $36,000 so far.
Burford underwent a successful three-hour surgery to repair some of the facial injuries and had his breathing tube removed.
Despite significant injuries, the bleeding on Burford's brain has stopped, and he is expected to be discharged later this week if recovery continues well.
For his continued recovery, Burford will need extensive physical and occupational therapy to regain strength and independence.
