'RHONY' Star Ubah Hassan Makes Red Carpet Debut with Long-term Investment Banker Boyfriend Oliver Dachsel after Keeping Relationship Secret for Over a Year

Ubah Hassan, star of 'Real Housewives of New York City', publicly revealed her long-term boyfriend as German investment banker Oliver Dachsel, previously referred to as 'Mr. Connecticut' on the show, at the American Ballet Theatre Fall Gala in NYC.
Hassan and Dachsel have been dating for over a year, meeting through mutual friends; their relationship was kept a secret due to Dachsel's professional need for privacy and Hassan's fatigue with public heartbreak.
Even amongst the 'Real Housewives' cast, only co-star Sai De Silva knew of the relationship. However, De Silva shared the secret with other co-stars, causing drama and tension on the show after Brynn Whitfield revealed the boyfriend's residence in front of the group at her birthday party.
Dachsel's identity was first reported by Daily Mail, stating they attended the invite-only 'RHONY' Season 14 premiere party in July 2023. The couple avoided attracting attention but remained together throughout the event.
Hassan stated on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen' that Dachsel and her have been in a relationship for 'a really long time', reinforcing that her reasons for secrecy included the emotional toll of public breakups.
